The Problem
A local residential subdivision required a barrier, compliant with Australian Standards, for the wing wall waterway on either side of a newly constructed road. It needed to protect and guide the general public from falling into the area below and needed to be aesthetically matched to other surrounding construction.
The Solution
Supply and install a compliant public barrier for the wing wall and meet the vibe and look of the new estate.
The Challenges
A complete customisation needed to be done to the standard post and rail product to ensure the height of the system was 1200mm high and the fencing had three rails plus a toe board. A further challenge was the angles and slope of the wing wall as well as having to complete all the construction and welding off site due to the custom powder coating. No adjustments could be made when installing onsite so everything had to be perfectly measured and created offsite.
