What is a dual lock bollard?

A dual lock or shared locking bollard allows two separate parties, with non-keyed alike padlocks, to access and remove the bollard at their convenience. Both parties do not need to be present to access the bollard. This style of security system allows two different companies, councils, emergency, or telecommunications services to have dual access.
