Line Marking Paint

Line marking paint should be fast-drying, and high quality to ensure crisp, clean lines and longevity. Good quality paint will exit a paint gun, or line marking machine, smoothly and won’t clog the inner workings of these instruments.

There are various types of paint, from water-based to acrylic and even rubber-based paint for roadway Linemarking. Although most line marking paints are expected to be used on roads, they are also compatible with other surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, and tarmac.

Thermoplastic line markings are ‘hot-applied’. They are a specific compound that creates reflective road lines with a long-lasting lifespan. This product not only reflects at night but can also offer better visibility for drivers in wet conditions as well. Thermoplastics have the added ability to apply as a road safety delineator, for both the physical rumble effect and the vibrating sound they make when tyres meet their surface.

Line marking paint can be sourced from specialist paint stores, hardware stores, or big-name brands such as Bunnings line marking paint range.
