We are looking for an independent, professional Installer to join our main Installations team in Geelong to help build on our strong results and customer base.
About the Role
This role will offer you the opportunity to carve out a place within our business. You’ll report directly to our Installations Team Leader. You’ll enjoy a high degree of trust and autonomy and be provided with the product knowledge, and technical skills you need to succeed.
You’ll be responsible for:
- the complete assembly, installation and repair of metal products at customer sites, predominately in Melbourne;
- working closely with the Installations Coordinator regarding scheduling and site inductions;
- a high-quality and high-standard of installation work, including ensuring finished work sites are clean and tidy;
- maintaining company assets (including vehicles and tools) and ensuring relevant tools are packed for each installation job; and
- assisting other teams (including manufacturing) as required, and attending all training and team meetings.
We offer a competitive salary package based on your experience, overtime is regularly available. The role will have access to a vehicle and mobile phone.
About You
Your key attributes and skills will include:
- a track record of industrial installation or handyman work;
- a strong focus on excellent installation quality and the ability to take responsibility for your work;
- well-developed technical abilities including site measurements and various tools/equipment (such as core drilling); and
- a self-starter with demonstrated time management skills, maturity and integrity;
- experience with line-marking, radar scanning and core drilling would be advantageous.
