McDonald's
Australia’s first McDonald’s restaurant opened in Yagoona, Sydney, in 1971. Today there are over 950 McDonald’s restaurants across Australia, 80 per cent of which are franchised and run by local businessmen and women. The organisation employs more than 100,000 people in restaurants and corporate offices Australia-wide, and is the largest employer of youth in the country. McDonald’s creates more than 6,000 new jobs each year and spends over $40 million per annum on training and people development. McDonald’s suppliers export $175 million worth of Australian products annually and its restaurants spend more than $1.6 billion on food, packaging and other Australian goods and services each year.

The Problem
Potential drive-through in parking spots needed to be managed with new wheel stops and existing damaged units needed to be replaced.
Bollards were requested for the front entrance to protect customers entering and exiting the store.
A bike rack was also required along the path in front of the store.
The Solution
Compliance wheel stops were chosen to replace damaged rubber models for their long-term sustainability features. We also installed new wheel stops into parking spaces that didn't have any at the time.
A truck stop was recommended and installed in the designated parking space for deliveries.
Two Zephyr bike bollards were the ideal choice as they not only provide storefront pedestrian safety but they offer a bicycle parking solution as well.
Client Response
The client was impressed with the end result and commented on the knowledge and professionalism of our installers.
