What’s the difference between SMTL and SMCL?

Surface mount TEE-LOK removable Bollards (SMTL) and Surface mount CAM-LOK removable Bollards (SMCL) are both surface mount removable bollards designed primarily for traffic management. The physical structure of the two bollards is almost identical, the difference comes from the way in which they are locked into the surface mounted receiver shoe.

  • SMTL ‘T’ handle

    SMTL

The SMTL adopts a unique ‘T’ handle locking key to unlock the bollard from the receiver shoe, whereas the SMCL uses a higher security and more tamper resistant internal cam-lock to secure the bollard to the receiver shoe.

  • SMCL internal cam-lock

    SMCL

The SMCL utilises a high quality Australian made Bi-Lock locking system with registered keys.
